Overview: Video Design, Content Creation, and Production
Challenges
• Realizing the Zika Virus was dangerous and a challenge to public health
• Simplifying an understanding of tenacious vector mosquito types that transmit Zika and societal risks.
• Addressing the threat and communicating problems, treatments, and results
• Demonstrating increased exposure to Zika’s outbreak in global urbanization
• Warning and engaging Ministries of Health and public health officials to limit the transmission of the Zika virus.
What we did
• Creative solutions to produce a video asset for a global health concern
• Drawing on years of experience creating visualized storylines and visual narratives
• Considered the end-users’ identity with the content
• Established custom storyboard design, visual and audio content direction, color palette, effective infographics, and original graphic maps.
• Researched photography, designed infographics, and recorded and edited the audio track, final titles, and production processes.
• Presented compelling case studies, including maps and infographics from the Florida Keys, Cambodia, and Malaysia
